What It Does

SSM is MFX's operational TMS — coordinating every order from scheduling through dock departure. When a ship date is assigned or revised, the Schedule Change Log captures the field-level diff, the customer notification email queues automatically, and every downstream module sees the updated status from a single save action.

Structured Scheduling Events

Every date assignment or revision captures a field-level XML snapshot in the Schedule Change Log, queues the customer notification email, and updates order status — all from one save. Eight operational workflows are available per order directly from the shipping grid: set schedule, set tanks, assign lots, generate documents, record delivery, log a conflict, reroute, or manage samples.

Auto-Scheduler

A background job evaluates eligible orders against time-slot templates, scores each by product type and customer preferences, assigns the best available slot, and auto-confirms the appointment without coordinator intervention. Exceptions that cannot be auto-resolved surface in a triage screen each morning.

OTIF & Audit Trail

Three OTIF processors — ERP, EDI, and Loading Log — evaluate on-time and in-full status against per-customer targets and write results to Dashboard scorecards automatically. Every field change across all orders is captured in a three-table audit trail with old and new values — the complete change history for any order is always reconstructable.

Schedule Customer Info

A single SchCustInfo master record per customer drives nine modules: transit times, QC certificate preferences, sampling requirements, OTIF targets, and role-specific loader/lab/carrier notes. Defined once, consumed across the platform without duplication. The 14-Day Location Totals and 12-Day Capacity Schedule give a rolling forward view of dock utilisation before the schedule locks.
