What It Does

PRMS manages the lifecycle of promotional samples sent to prospective customers — from request intake through QC testing and delivery. Business development teams track sample projects from the same platform the plant uses for production quality, with QC data flowing in directly from QCM or entered manually when lab integration isn't available.

Dual QC Data Handling

QC data for promotional samples can flow directly from the QCM lab when samples are tested through the standard quality workflow, or entered manually when testing occurs outside the integrated system — supporting both fully connected and standalone workflows without requiring a separate QC process for each case.

Status-Driven Notifications

As a promotional sample project moves through its lifecycle, configured stakeholders receive automated status notifications via CNCS. Business development teams, sales representatives, and customer contacts stay informed of sample progress without manually checking the system or maintaining separate email threads.

Attachment Repository

All documentation associated with a sample request — specification sheets, test results, customer correspondence, approval records — is stored in a centralised repository attached to the sample record. Every document is accessible from the same record that carries the sample's status and QC data.

Product & Customer Context

Promotional sample projects connect to product specifications in PDM and customer records in the order system, giving business development teams full product data — test limits, additive formulas, classification tags — at the point of sample preparation without navigating between systems.
